Holding Space in Difficult Times
Join us for a time of reflection and freewriting—no writing experience or talent necessary!
Poet and teacher Pauletta Hansel will lead a virtual writing circle for those who are concerned about the state of their country and could use some time to express those feelings with like-minded folks.
This event will begin with individual check-ins, when attendees will let the group know how they’re doing. Then we’ll proceed to a silent writing time based on reflective prompts. After that, everyone will be invited (but not required) to share their writing with the group.
This event is meant to help attendees process emotions that are hard to handle, experience the bonds of community, and move forward with a focus on what they are creating in the world.
We hope you can join us as we write our way towards hope.
For this event, we ask that all participants be willing to show themselves on camera for security reasons
