Help voters get ready for the 2024 election!

Many voters haven’t heard that last year, ALL names were removed from the Vote-by-Mail (VBM) lists by the Florida State government. The over 37,000 Democrats in Seminole County on the list were reduced to zero. Less than half have reapplied for VBM ballots so far. A SemDems priority is to inform Democratic households how to sign up again. Other priorities are the Abortion Rights and Clean Waters petitions to get those issues on the 2024 ballot.

In the form, provide contact info, neighborhood, and number of households to canvass.
_____You’ll receive an email with the map of your requested area with a List Number to enter in the MiniVAN phone app, plus how to document results with the app.
_____Download the MiniVAN app from iTunes or Google Play.
_____Pick up Vote-by-Mail flyers/petitions from the SemDems Office.
_____Enter the List Number into the miniVAN app for the addresses and voter names.
_____As you deliver to each household, enter results in the MiniVAN app. Be sure to sync (save) the data often in the app by tapping the cloud symbol with the up arrow.
Options for Delivery
- Knock on doors, chat with voters (script is in app), offer literature. If no one is home, leave literature at the door. Postal regs do not allow non-postage-paid items in or on mailboxes. Enter results in the MiniVAN app.
- Go to each address and leave literature without knocking. Enter Lit Drop in the app.
- Mail literature to each household. You are responsible for the postage. Use the SemDems office address for the return address. This is the only option for private or gated communities if you don’t have access. Enter Lit Drop in the app.
Additional Tips
Ask for a reasonable number of households, say 30-50. You can always request additional households in a new list at a later date.
If delivering multiple literature pieces, place in a envelope or clear plastic door hanging bag.
If desired you can write and print out a custom letter or greeting with: an invitation to visit the SemDems website and sign up for the newsletter; tips about filling out the petitions; URLs to print out more petitions; volunteer options, etc.
