Dixon, a veteran political operative and labor leader, runs FDP’s day-to-day operations and works with FDP Chair Manny Diaz to oversee the Party’s fundraising and candidate recruitment and support initiatives. A Miami native, Dixon previously served as the Florida Executive Director for the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), the second-largest union in North America with 2.1 million members, including more than 55,000 active and retired healthcare professionals, public employees, and property service workers in Florida. In that role, Dixon administered the group’s political, legislative, outreach and electoral operations in Florida.
