The Energy at the Longwood Chili Cookoff was Electrifying!
We’re here, we’re not going to be intimidated, and we’re not going anywhere.
That was the subtle message that the Seminole County Democratic Party presented to hundreds of attendees on Saturday, many of whom thoroughly enjoyed our Jeff Wilkinson Memorial Freedom Chili. While we didn’t win (it’s a rigged affair..), we showed up and had the most vibrant and engaging booth of the event!
The focus was on enjoying the moment and feeding people some darn good chili, and reminding people that Democrats are normal human beings that can enjoy “Freebird” blaring across the landscape as they’re slinging chili. We succeeded in showing the community that Democrats are resilient.
