SemDems Block Captains Needed: Help Us Win Elections by Focusing on Your Neighborhood

Looking for a way to help Democratic Party candidates get elected in 2024? While the SemDems have a number of volunteer opportunities, becoming a Block Captain lets you stay close to home.

This program is a chance to make a difference in your own neighborhood. As a BC, you’ll make contact with nearby residents who are registered Democrats. We will provide the training and tools to inform and motivate our voters.

Duties include:
• Annual outreach to each Democrat within your assigned area
• Additional outreach to neighbors about specific events, issues or voting initiatives
• Distribution of Voter Guides during election season
• Maintaining communication with your Precinct Captain

FYI, there are 82 precincts in Seminole County, some with over 2,000 Democrats. Overall, there are over 110,000 registered Democrats in our county. We need help to reach out to our voters, so we can win in 2024! Please click here for more info and to apply to be a Block Captain today.

Two hands shaking

Precinct Captains are voting members of the Seminole County Democratic Party and oversee their regional Block Captains.

We also have a variety of area Clubs that all Democrats are welcome to join if attending the SemDems meetings is too much of a commitment.
