If you’re a renter:
Through the bold action of our Democratic leaders in Washington DC, Seminole County was allocated with over $14 million dollars for Rental Assistance. The portal has been open since March 1st. This County-wide program covers unincorporated areas and all municipalities and will remain open as long as funds are available. Please click on the following link to learn who's eligible and what documentation you need to provide to receive this aid. Please know you must prove that your rental situation is a result of COVID.

If you’re a homeowner:
Federal COVID-19 Mortgage Relief is still available through June 30, 2021!!!
Mortgage Loans backed by HUD/FHA, USDA, or VA are eligible for an initial forbearance through June 30, 2021. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac do not currently have a deadline for requesting an initial forbearance. If you're having trouble making payments on your federally backed mortgage because of the COVID-19 pandemic, contact your loan servicer before June 30, 2021. Your loan servicer must:
· Defer or reduce your payments for 180 days if you contact them to make arrangements
· Give you another 180 days of mortgage relief at your request
· Offer options for how you can make up the deferred or reduced payments. They will discuss these options with you at the end of your forbearance period.
