Honoring Seniors
Each one of us had a mother and father and, even if yours may not be around, we can honor them by helping others. Meals on Wheels is a charity organization that helps our Seminole County Seniors. We all know that the past year has been difficult particularly on shut-ins. SemDems can make a difference!
The seniors of Seminole County are in need of help every day, and your donation can positively affect the lives of thousands. Meals on Wheels offers convenient ways to help our seniors- online donations, volunteering your time, in-person donations, and many others. Drop off your Donation items at the SemDems office anytime during office hours.
The donation drive runs until May 23rd.
Suggested Donations include:
1. Ensure, all flavors
2. Boost, all flavors
3. Senior coloring books Purchase Online
4. Senior crossword books LARGE print - Barnes & Noble Oviedo and Altamonte both carry, some Dollar Tree locations or Purchase Online
5. Crayons - regular and big size (Preferably not from Dollar Tree)
6. Colored pencils - regular and big size
7. Boxes of notecards
8. Postage stamps (Make sure they are forever)
9. Gift cards - Wal-Mart or Target
