Deborah Poulalion will be on the November 3, 2020 ballot as the Democratic candidate for Seminole County Supervisor of Elections. Despite the challenges of campaigning during the COVID-19 pandemic, Deborah secured the necessary 3,037 signed candidate petitions.
Deborah said, “I am incredibly grateful to our hardworking volunteers and to every kind voter in Seminole County who signed. Thanks to you, I will not need to pay the $9,024 fee to run for office. What a relief!”
Deborah and fellow Democratic candidate Moira Dictor was featured on WMFE-90.7 about the challenges of virtual campaigning during the pandemic. You can listen to that interview here.
Deborah’s Platform Includes Extended Early Voting
Deborah is challenging Republican incumbent (and Ron DeSantis appointee) Chris Anderson for Supervisor of Elections. Among Deborah’s plans for the SOE office:
- Extended Early Voting days (Seminole County had the least number of EV days in the Central Florida area for the March 17th primary)
- Add an Early Voting location at the main campus of Seminole State College
- Postage-paid return envelopes for Vote By Mail
- Greater transparency and accountability
