Jennifer Webb

Seminole County Soil and Water Conservation District 1 – Jennifer Webb

After receiving a job opportunity as an Architect, I moved to Florida along with my children and have called Seminole County my home for nearly 20 years. Currently working as an Architect at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, I have been active in our community by serving on multiple boards such as the City of Oviedo Public Arts Council and the Seminole County Public School Business Advisory Board.

I was first elected to serve as a Soil and Water Conservation District (SSWCD) Supervisor in 2020. While serving, I updated the SSWCD website, was able to regularly notify citizens of local pollution events, improved the SSWCD's social media presence, and managed the State of Florida Land Judging Contest held in Seminole County, which was one of the largest events of its kind in the State's history.

My goals is to make the website a central resource for natural resource information and to make the SSWCD a strong advocate for conservation and environmental protection.

Soil and Water Conservation in Seminole County needs to be a voice to promote use, management, and general conservation of soil and water. Megan, if elected, will implement a plan to educate the community that our use of water and soil resources determine the future health of our environment so we ensure that Seminole County remains "The Natural Choice." Betche has lived in Seminole County for the past 12 years with her dogs, Jax and Scuba.

Patricia Wilson

Seminole County Soil and Water Conservation District 5 – Patricia Wilson

As a long time Florida resident, I have watched Florida's development over the years, some of it reckless, some of it wise. With Seminole's population continuing to grow, it is more important than ever for leadership in the county to help thoughtfully guide the use of our irreplaceable resources. My family and I moved to south Florida in 1977 and to the Orlando area in 1990. My background as a dentist in the area for over 25 years established deep connections to the people of central Florida. In addition, I value my time as a volunteer in community efforts including donating dentistry for those in need at Orange Technical College, and volunteering at the Marine Discovery Center, Cross Seminole Trail Alliance, Chair of WMFE Community Advisory Board, and as a Super Scientist in the Seminole County public schools. I have worked with the landscape committees of several large HOA's and am currently the chair of my HOA landscape committee involving 538 acres of Seminole County.

Dominique Douglas

Altamonte Springs City Commissioner District 4 – Dominique Douglas

Electing me means electing a fresh perspective. As Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple, said, “The broader one's understanding of the human experience, the better design we will have." I had a very rough upbringing in the foster care system but was lucky enough to be adopted when I was 13 years old by a police officer and a healthcare worker. Now I am a law student at Florida A&M University and the proud mother of a beautiful daughter. My life has shaped me to be the person I am today. I know how important opportunities are within a community to ensure effective and continued growth. Altamonte Springs is expanding, and I support intentional growth in our economy and public infrastructure. I support a renewed focus on income-based housing, tax incentives for small businesses, and fair access to opportunities to contract with the city. A vote for me is a vote for a more economically stable and safe city for all.
